Kilkenny Integrated Transport Evolution, or KITE service has now gone live at the bus stop on Green Street in Callan
The new real time travel information system uses digital display units displaying arrival times and communications buttons, similar to those found at Luas stops in Dublin. This enables travelers to plan their journeys using both Ring a Link and JJ Kavanagh services.
There are a number of these new displays within Kilkenny City but they are also located throughout the county in Killamery, Ballyragget and Castlecomer.
