Kilkenny Sunflower Field has officially opened in Callan this weekend.
After a challenging few months due to weather which delayed the opening from July you can now enjoy a great family day out in the sunflower field which will be open at the dates and times below.
Entry is FREE for everyone but they will be accepting donations on the day for Taxiwatch Suicide Prevention. This vital and lifesaving Talk To Tom programme aims to train taxi drivers across Ireland on how to spot the signs of a suicide crisis, how to react, and how to get all involved to safety.
The Kilkenny Sunflower Field is proudly sponsored by Callan Co-op, Kilbride Equestrian Centre, Philip Ireland Tyres Ltd and AXA Insurance.
So spread the word by taking some photos and selfies and sharing them on social media to get the word out, don’t forget to also pack your wellies and your own scissors to cut some sunflowers to take home!
