We would like to give a huge thank you to Maria Bove-Audoire for all her hard work over the past number of months and her generous donations this week.
Maria has been very busy making facemasks and has generously donated €1 from every mask sold to the Covid-19 Callan Support Group charity appeal for Mount Carmel, St. Joseph’s, and L’arche Community.
On Wednesday night a cheque for €350 was presented to Pauline Hartley and Claire Somers who are members of the Support group.
To date, the support group has raised over €10,000, over €7,000 of which has been generously donated online. Remember it’s not too late to donate, you can donate via the GoFundMe page and donations can also be left into Callan Post Office.
In addition to this generous donation to the charity appeal, Maria has also presented some specially designed and made masks to Callan Garda Station.
