St. Brigid’s College and Coláiste Éamann Rís are merging to create a new school here in Callan called Coláiste Abhainn Rí, named after the King’s River.
This new state of the art post-primary school will open in September 2022 and will be a co-educational school, accommodating over 600 pupils. An expanded curriculum will be introduced as part of the amalgamation.
