Following the planned closure of the Bank Of Ireland branch and 24hour ATM on the 8th October there have been repeated requests from many in Callan for a new 24hr to be setup in the community.
Many in the community have voiced their concerns about the loss of 24hr lodgement and cash withdrawal in Callan and the effects this may have on local businesses and the community. There have also been calls for local Councillors and TD’s to get involved and for AIB to install a ATM which would be accessible outside their branch.
Services Still Remaining:
While Callan is loosing its 24hr ATM it will still have ATM access in Supervalu and banking services including lodgements and withdrawals can be availed of at the AIB branch and in Callan Post Office which is also located in Supervalu.
