The new Callan United FC pitches in the Fair Green are coming on nicely and drainage will be installed in the next week or two. The investment in these pitches is costing the club approx €158k.
Callan FC have a €90k sports capital grant and fundraised approx €30k over the last few years. But they still have a shortfall of €38k to complete this work. Callan FC have so far raised €3,500 on their GoFundMe page to complete this work.
Callan FC is appealing to former players, parents and people of this town to help them complete this work so they can move on to the next phase of the development which is to upgrade the dressing rooms.
