Congratulations to Callan United AFC on winning the FAI Club Mark One Award in club development.
The FAI Club Mark is the foundation of a growing number of resources being created to support the growth and development of grassroots clubs.
The next step for Callan United AFC in the FAI programme would be the One Star Player Development Centre on the Club Mark journey. We wish Callan United AFC luck on its journey to achieving these awards.
In order to win the award Callan United AFC had to demonstrate the following six key points:
- A high standard of Coach Education
- Good coaching structures
- A player development and coaching pathway
- Achieved the standards set by our Player Development Working Group
- Have an ongoing relationship with a FAI Coaching Mentor
- Have high standards of governance, management, and administration
