The first female student enrolled in Trinity College back in 1904 and 2021 is set to be another historical year for women as the position for the next Provost will be chosen from a shortlist of three female candidates.
We are very proud and excited to announce that one of these candidates is Callan woman Linda Hogan daughter of the late Patrick (Patsy) Hogan and Bea Hogan (Gardiner) and sister of Úna and Seán Hogan.
Linda previously attended St. Brigid’s College here in Callan and is currently a Professor of Ecumenics at the School of Religion in Trinity College.
The Hogan family has always been hugely involved and very supportive in the Callan community. We would like to wish Linda every success and without sounding bios, we know she is the best woman for the job.
