On Thursday, 20 July at 7pm the Callan Heritage Society Famine Walk will take place.
We meet at the gates of Killenny County Council regional offices in Prologue (the old entrance to the Workhouse). It is a 2km walk to Cherryfield graveyard in Baunta. Parking possibilities along the route but are very limited.
We begin with a brief talk, a poem, some music, prayers and conclude with a reflection. All are welcome.
